We know that the natural gas explosion that rocked Inner Richmond the other day was not something anyone expected to go through. The explosion was caused by a private construction company when they hit the gas utility line and it took nearly three hours to extinguish.
Overall, five buildings were severely damaged in the incident. Miraculously, nobody was injured. Initially, five workers on the construction crew were listed as missing, but they were all found safe. The incident certainly did scare those who work and live nearby.
“We went into crisis mode,” said a nearby resident. “We grabbed our shoes, grabbed our laptops and grabbed our passports and just left.”

If a person feels pain later and then go to the doctor, the insurance companies may use that against them as evidence they were not really hurt in the first place.
It is also important to follow the doctor’s orders. This means following all prescribed treatment plans and going to follow up visits. Doing so will help establish that the injury is indeed real and that a person and should be covered.
After an incident with injuries, it is important to keep documentation of what happened. This can include medical reports, police reports, and any photo/video evidence of the incident.
